The Cooling Waffle Reading Pillow arrives tightly vacuum sealed and required approximately 48 hours to achieve its intended loft. Although I ordered this to facilitate a more ergonomic reading position, I was also hoping that the arm bolsters would help mitigate the shoulder discomfort I've been having by providing better arm support.

? After leaving the pillow sit overnight I found it fully expanded and prepared for use by the following morning. The design is particularly effective due to its graduated thickness toward the base which provides substantial lumbar reinforcement. The inclusion of dual side pockets and a rear compartment offers exceptional utility for storing essentials like my phone, reading glasses, tissues and of course reading material. The shredded memory foam provides a robust level of firmness, and I appreciate the ability to customize the density by removing fill to soften it up if needed. This transition has been remarkably seamless and I find myself questioning how I managed to comfortably read before having this nifty pillow.

I mainly use this reading pillow for sitting up in bed with a book. It provides solid back support and stays comfortable even after long reading sessions.

The waffle fabric feels cool and breathable, especially compared to regular reading pillows. It stays comfortable even during longer use.

I keep this on the couch and use it for movie nights. It supports my back and neck well and does not get warm or stuffy.

I use this pillow for reading, watching TV, and even working on my laptop. It is supportive without feeling stiff and adapts well to different positions.
