Seersucker Cooling Comforter-Dark Grey

This comforter is advertised as a cooling comforter for hot sleepers. I'm not sure I would classify it as a comforter because it is extremely thin. It more like a heavy blanket or seersucker quilt. It has very nice seamed edges and is a good quality blanket. We are remodeling our house and are currently working on our master bedroom suite, so right now we are sleeping in a bedroom in our basement. The basement tends to be much colder than the main level of our home, but I am a hot sleeper, so I wanted to give this blanket a try. I figured I would be freezing in the middle of the night because it was so thin. It did feel cool when I initially got under it, however it only lasted a few minutes before it started warming up. I was surprisingly warm all night. Not hot, just comfortable. I did still have my feet uncovered, but that is typical for me. My husband was also comfortable. He gets night sweats sometimes so it will be interesting to see if this blanket helps. I do think the price is too high for what you get.

I wanted to cut down on my AC at night. With a fan and this cooling blanket, I'm fine. It's soft, looks great - and I don't know how, but is surprisingly cooling.

The light grey color is versatile and complements my bedding beautifully. The quality of the quilt is impressive, and I appreciate how lightweight it is while still providing the right amount of coverage. This blanket has significantly improved the quality of my sleep, and I wake up feeling refreshed and cool.

Great for summer. Is slightly heavy weight but always feels cool.
