This is a nice cooling blanket for our Florida summers. It's not too heavy like other cooling comforters we have. We use it under a decorative cover that we fold down each night so it's not a huge deal. The color is light on the cooling side and slightly darker on the other side. It's edged in piping which is a nice durability feature. It comes in a shrink packaging so don't be alarmed at the small size of the packaging.
